SBA Disaster Loans Available

The SBA has made disaster loans available for those affected by the flooding.

From the SBA:

Small businesses and private nonprofits are eligible to apply for business physical disaster loans and may borrow up to $2 million to repair or replace disaster-damaged or destroyed real estate, machinery and equipment, inventory, and other business assets.

Applications for disaster loans may be submitted online using the MySBA Loan Portal. The deadline for Physical Damage filing is September 23, 2025, and the deadline for Economic Injury filing is April 27, 2026.

The Small Business Administration will have a temporary office location at The Drakeford Library Complex in Carrboro (203 South Greensboro St. Carrboro, NC 27510). The office is open M-F 8:30am - 5:00pm and Saturday 10:00am - 2:00pm from now until 1:00pm on Saturday, August 31st.
