Reminder: Required Permits for Electrical and Construction Work
As remediation work continues, we wanted to remind you of the permitting process and reiterate that two types of expedited permits must be applied for in each space as we collectively work toward restoration:
Electrical Permit – a ‘Trade Work Only’ permit for restoring power
Commercial Permit – for restorative construction work
Details on the steps required for these permit applications can be found in Items #3 and #4 of the Tenant Checklist page.
If you are using BluSky for your electrical and/or construction work, they will assist you with the appropriate permit application filings. If using a different contractor of choice, they are likely familiar with the process – however, the Kite team is available at any time to assist and consult regarding the proper application steps.
